I've been pretty busy lately but I have only a few things to finish up before I start assembly. It's been a rainy, cold year so far so the aileron/flap spar has been sitting there ready to glue for almost two weeks. Tomorrow looks like a warm day and, being a Saturday, also one I have off from work. I want to glue the cover on the spar at the same time that I do the structure, so tonight I prepared the two halves so they would be ready to go for tomorrow. The cover grain is diagonal and there's a scarf joint in the middle because the spar is so long. I used my same laminate trimmer jig to make the 15:1 scarf.
