I finished off the jig by attaching a piece of wood to act as a notch to push the wood through so I didn't have to mess with the beveled edge. This is the jig ready to go.

Everything went smoothly and I cut the other side of the fin leading edge. Then I drew on all the angles from the blueprints and shaped the ends. This is a shot looking down the double beveled/tapered fin leading edge. Success!
