Another thing I can do to keep moving forward is to start work on the aluminum hinges for the tail. I've been spending a lot of thinking time figuring out what I need to get. I've looked through the plans and blueprints and took an inventory of all the hinges and hardware in the tail so that I don't miss anything. I've tried to be very careful so that I don't miss anything that can surprise me later but I'm sure there will be something I miss. I've realized some of the aluminum extrusion stock is hard to find in small quantities so I may buy some of the parts from Sequoia. The channel nuts and bronze bushings as well. We'll see after I find out how much things cost at various places. Here's my chicken scratch that I later turned into a lovely excel spreadsheet that tells me exactly how much of what I need to get.
