February 10, 2007
It wasn't too warm today but the sun was shining and I was getting temps in the high 60's in the garage. I went for it and glued the final sections of the stabilizer spar plywood backing. I'm glad to have that done, it took way too long to get that plywood on there. I finished the spar structure 4 months ago! It only took five more sessions, actually working on it here in February to get it done but it is finished.
I glued another little plywood pad on the main fin spar. I think there are a couple more little pads like this for the tail spars and I still need to close the rudder spar. Otherwise, the spars can be put to rest for a while.
