Today was the warmest day in a while so I got to take care of a bunch of odds and ends waiting to be glued for the tail spars. First thing I did was glue the center section of the main stabilizer spar plywood backing. I'm just going to glue the different thickness sections on separately to make it easier for myself. I used pieces of thick plywood to protect the gluing plywood from the clamps and distribute the clamping pressure.

I also glued the little plywood pads on the tapered side of the spar in two places.

And finally, I closed the main fin spar by gluing on the front cover. I used the three nails to make it easy to line up the cover to make sure the varnished area lined up right.
