I went down near San Diego today with fellow Falco builder Mark Wainwright to see Gayl Boddy's Falco project. It's the first Falco I've seen still in the construction phase. He's pretty much done with the structure and has it fiberglassed but is still doing wiring and stuff, so there is still much to see. It was really incredible to see the parts all assembled in person. It was like I was blind because I had to feel everything with my hands. Seeing it up close like that really gives you a good feel for things and being able to touch things helps me even more. I learned many things and gayl even let me borrow his fuselage frame longeron cut-out router template. Very good Falco day!
