Finally! The humidity has stayed up the last few weeks and is still up today with temps in the 70's. No more excuses left. I glued on the bottom skins on the elevator. I had all of the stapling strips ready and went to work. I painted the glue on the skins, spread the acid on the structure, used the alignment pins to place the skins down and started stapling over the strips and the string. The string does leave a mark in the plywood so the strips are necessary. The string should make getting the staples out a little easier but I shot a boatload of staples in there, it's going to be fun to get them all out.
I've been a little nervous about gluing these skins on. I've sure waited long enough. It seems like everything went smoothly but we'll see when everything is all cleaned up.
