I had some time today to work on the elevator balance weight installation. I drilled the first hole in the elevator control arm and lined up the arms with the balance weight. You can see I had the balance weight upside down at first but I flipped it over. Things were looking good so I reamed up those holes and installed the bolts. I used epoxy for corrosion protection between the arms and the weight. Those bolts are not going anywhere for a very long time. Later on I primed the elevator hinges and control arm to match the other hinges.
